Call for Poster Presentations
FY2023 ANNUAL MEETING
December 29, 2022 – The National Predictive Modeling Tool Initiative (NPMTI) 2023 Annual Meeting Committee is pleased to invite submissions of abstracts for poster presentations. The deadline for abstract submissions is 1/20/23.
This is an excellent opportunity to share work with colleagues highlighting predictive modeling research or other plant pathology research related to the predictive modeling initiatives. In addition, USDA Agricultural Research Service (ARS) scientists and U.S. congressional representatives have been invited to attend the Annual Meeting.
The NPMTI Annual Meeting will be held February 21 – 22, 2023 in Beltsville, MD at the USDA-ARS National Agricultural Library (NAL). Posters will be displayed at the NAL beginning at 11:00 AM EST on Tuesday, 2/21/23, followed by brief presentations and a chance for informal, in-depth discussions with attendees. Posters may remain displayed until 3:00 PM Wednesday, 2/22/23.
Poster Topics
Any poster presentation that is of interest to plant pathologists, agronomists, or microbiologists that is designed to help with the development of modeling tools to predict the incidence of diseases in plants will be considered.
Abstract Submission Requirements
Those interested in presenting must submit: (a) an 8 to10 word poster title, (b) a 300-word abstract summarizing the poster contents, and (c) 2 to 5 keywords describing the poster. Also required are the primary presenter’s name and affiliation, and the name and affiliation of additional authors.
All poster presentation abstracts should be submitted by January 20, 2023 to administrator@agpmt.org, with a copy to director@agpmt.org. More information about the NPMTI Annual Meeting can be found at www.agpmt.org.
