FY27 Request for Proposals for the National Predictive Modeling Tool Initiative (NPMTI) Will Be Released September 21, 2026

NPMTI will issue a Request for Proposals (RFP) on September 21, 2026, for new and recurring research projects for the following crops: corn, cotton, pulse, soybeans, and wheat. All projects that fit the research area priorities as spelled out in the action plans for the five NPMTI-supported crops will be considered. Proposed projects that show collaborative efforts from multiple institutions (public and/or private), multiple states, and include multiple crop systems are encouraged, but not necessary. As NPMTI grows, additional row crops and associated diseases may be considered on an annual RFP basis. Be a part of this initiative that is so important to American agriculture!
